How to Integrate with Shopify
Connecting your AI agent directly to your Shopify store unlocks powerful capabilities, allowing it to act as a smart shopping assistant with real-time access to your products, orders, and store information.
1. Select the E-commerce Goal On the Setup tab of your agent's configuration, you must select E-commerce as the primary goal. This trains the agent for online sales and enables the e-commerce integration options.
2. Enter Your Store Address Navigate to the Integrations tab. In the Shopify section, type in your unique Shopify store name (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com) and click Connect to Shopify.
3. Authorize the App in Shopify You will be redirected to your Shopify admin panel. Shopify will show you the permissions the Agentive AIQ app requires to function. Click Install to approve the connection and grant access.
4. Confirm Your Connection After installation, Shopify will send you back to your AgentiveAIQ dashboard. On the Integrations tab, you will now see a "Connected" status and a Disconnect button, confirming the link is active.
5. Add the Widget to Your Store Now, look at the Actions panel on the right side of your screen. Click the Add to my store button. This will automatically inject your floating widget's code into your Shopify theme—no manual coding required. You will see a "Widget added to your store!" notification.
(Note: This one-click install only applies to the Floating Widget deployment type. If you are using an Embedded Window, you must still use the "Get Snippet Code" button and paste the code into your Shopify theme manually.)
6. Go Live! Visit your Shopify storefront and refresh the page. Your new AI shopping assistant will now be live, ready to help your customers check order status, find products, and answer questions using real-time data from your store.
