How to Integrate with WooCommerce
Give your agent real-time access to your WooCommerce store data. Once connected, your AI assistant can check order status, browse products, check shipping options, and more. Prerequisite: You must have the WooCommerce plugin installed and active on your WordPress site.
Here’s how to set up the integration:
1. Select the E-commerce Goal First, on the Setup tab of your agent's configuration, you must select E-commerce as the primary goal. This enables the necessary e-commerce tools and integration options.
2. Download the AgentiveAIQ Plugin Navigate to the Integrations tab. In the WooCommerce section, you will see a link to "Click here to download the plugin." This will save a .zip file to your computer.
3. Install the Plugin on WordPress Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. Go to Plugins > Add New and click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page. Choose the .zip file you just downloaded and click Install Now.
4. Activate the Plugin After the plugin finishes installing, click the Activate Plugin button. This will add a new "AgentiveAIQ" menu item to your WordPress dashboard.
5. Connect in AgentiveAIQ Return to your AgentiveAIQ dashboard. On the Integrations tab, enter your full WordPress Site URL in the designated field (e.g., https://yourstore.com). Click Connect.
6. Authorize the Connection You will be redirected to your WordPress site.
If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in first.
Next, you will see an authorization screen. Click Authorize Connection to grant the plugin access to your store data.
7. Confirm Your Connection After authorizing, you will be automatically sent back to your AgentiveAIQ dashboard. The WooCommerce section will now display a "Connected" status, confirming the link is active.
8. Add the Widget to Your Site Ensure your chatbot is published. In the Actions panel on the right, click the Add to WordPress page button. You will see a "Widget added to your WordPress site!" notification at the top of the screen.
(Note: This one-click install only applies to the Floating Widget deployment type. If you are using an Embedded Window, you must still use the "Get Snippet Code" button and paste the code into your WordPress page manually.)
9. Go Live! Visit your live WordPress site and refresh the page. Your new AI shopping assistant will be active and ready to engage with your customers.
